This series offers a choice of different sizes of butterflies. All are quite detailed and many have piercing patterns and embossing features for those crafters who enjoy metallic threads in adding accents to cutouts. Once again, we’re excited to offer die cuts with details never offered before! Each Angel Wing has a butterfly mate.
The angel wing dies are used to cut an exact shape of a full size die cut butterfly related to each die. Simply fold your backing paper, tape the die to the edge of the fold and die cut both layers. Remove and open for a perfect die cut shape in seconds! These dies may also be used to create random dimensional cuts in craft paper or simple decorative- shaped cuts of butterflies. To create a dimensional die cut, place the die in position to cut on one side of a card and then flip the card to cut the other half of the shape. To keep shape as part of the card, separate the two die cuts slightly to keep the shape as part of the card. You may also glue the butterfly mate to the shape for an attractive surprise when the card is opened!

I have several CL dies and use them all frequently. The intricate detail of the dies make my projects look lovely. Thanks CL for the consistent quality of these beauties. Love your dies.

What can I say? the best butterfly dies available anywhere. I am glad I bought the angel wing version though I dithered, because the angel wings cut out of parchment can then be embossed freehand for an entirely different set of 3 butterflies, each one individual, as well as the wonderful filigree butterflies. As always, the use of a felt shim makes a better cut, and the holes through the die are invaluable. Thank you - die cutting doesn't really get much better.
