Trina McClune

has been scrapbooking for approx 7 years since her mother in law told her about a ‘shop that helps you store your photos’. Trina walked into the shop and thought she was in heaven. Since finding that first shop Trina has grown and developed as a scrapbook artist creating hundreds of pages to record her and her family’s lives. Her main inspiration comes from her 3 children, who also help keep her grounded. She lives in Auckland, NZ and enjoys a semi rural life in the middle of the city. She relishes picking home grown vegetables for dinner and eating eggs the family chickens have laid. Trina has worked on a number of internationally renowned design teams including Prima Marketing, Dusty Attic and Junkitz as well as working as the Lead Ambassador for Fiskars NZ. Trina has also been on the design teams for New Zealand and Australian scrapbooking magazines, published widely throughout these countries and others. She has taught frequently both online and in a classroom setting. Recently starting to teach and promote her own scrapbooking events. Trina’s style is full of detail, layers of paper and embellishments, flowers and stitching. She loves to distress and you’ll often find ink, sanding and tearing in her pages.

Bio:
I am married and have two grown sons. I have been stamping about 10 years and am totally addicted to this hobby. I love making cards and collecting all the goodies to make them. I’m not much for cutesy but I love pretty and elegant cards. I love these new dies and have been having a wonderful time with them.

“Some children see him”: Cheery Lynn Stacker’s coved rectangle dies and Our Daily Bread Design stamps. ODBD focal point is made with the Stacker’s scalloped ovals and Our Daily Bread Design stamp; all done in purple and lavender. “Bring Back the Beautiful” is made with the Stackers French Flair dies, some designer paper and the image is from “Flourishes”; amber colored gems and a pretty butterfly from Michaels. The Cheery Lynn lattice card is a “Flourish” stamp and Cuttlebug tag with a peel off saying. “Crafty Secrets” is an image from them with Cheery Lynn French Flair dies and “Graphic 45” paper; pearls and ribbon from Michaels. I love the fact that I can fold my paper and make these cards without having to purchase another machine for several hundred dollars, this is fantastic! I’m using these in my Cuttlebug and loving it!”

Bio: Jan Castle
I am married to an extraordinary man and have 2 grown children. Shortly after retiring as an Executive Secretary, I discovered digital photography and made note cards with my photos. After walking into a stamp store 4 years ago, I was instantly hooked! I continue to enjoy making cards, as well as teaching card making.
